Postponement of Peak Season Surcharge (PSS-2) Far East/Asia/ISC to USA

New Effective January 15, 2016

 

 
Dear Valued Customer,

 

 
Please be advised that CMA CGM has decided to postpone the Peak Season Surcharge (PSS2) on all dry and reefer cargo from Asia to USA and Canada. The new effective date will be January 15, 2016.

 

 
New Effective Date: January 15, 2016.
From: All Asia (includes Far East) Ports of Load
TO: ALL U.S.A. Ports of Discharge and inland points via said ports of discharge = CMDU 043
From: India, Sri Lanka, Pakistan, or Bangladesh POLs
TO: ALL U.S West Coast Ports of Discharge, and inland points via said ports of discharge = CMDU 029

 

 
USD 360 per 20′ (all types)
USD 400 per 40′ (all types)
USD 450 per 40’HC (all types)
USD 450 per 40′ (reefer types)
USD 506 per 45′ (all types)
USD 640 per 53’* (all types)
*USWC ports of discharge

 

 

Exceptions:
1) This surcharge will not apply to origins in Australia, New Zealand, Fiji, Papua New Guinea, New Caledonia, and French Polynesia.
This charge will apply to all Cargo which are received and moving under a CMA CGM bill of lading on or after January 15, 2016.
