OOCL announces new Intra-Asia service

OOCL is pleased to announce the introduction of a new service, the North China / Pusan / Southeast Asia Service (NPS), as part of our existing Intra-Asia network.

The new service will be operated by OOCL with four 2,200-2,500 TEU (twenty foot equivalent unit) containerships and will commence on January 27, 2015, with the inaugural sailing from Singapore.

The NPS service provides a comprehensive supplement to our Northeast Asia – Southeast Asia service network by covering North China, Korea, Singapore, Thailand and Taiwan.  Together with our other Intra-Asia services, OOCL can provide a more competitive service network in meeting the needs of our customers trading in the Far East.
