Change of Container Detention Invoicing

All USA Locations
Effective April 15, 2015

Dear Valued Customer,
Effective April 15, 2015, CMA CGM will implement a change to the current procedure for invoicing detention charges related to Merchant Haulage container moves. Rather than invoicing the trucker who has interchanged the container, detention charges will be invoiced directly to the applicable Merchant connected with the shipment (as defined in CMA CGM‘s bill of lading).
The existing practice for invoicing detention charges for Carrier Haulage container moves will remain unchanged.
Best regards,
CMA CGM (America) LLC
