Southeast Asia – Australia Service Update: AAA1/AAA2 combines to form New AAA

Dear Valued Customer:

OOCL is pleased to announce the combining of the existing AAA1 and AAA2 loops into one upsized product called the New AAA to provide a more comprehensive service network in the market served by six post Panamax containerships.

As one of the vessel operators, we are committed to meeting the needs of customers in this trade. The New AAA product will cover all key markets and provide competitive transit times between Southeast Asia and Australian ports.

The other Southeast Asia – Australia services that we offer will remain unchanged.  Customers can continue to enjoy the comprehensive coverage in the Southeast Asia network via either Singapore or Port Kelang to meet the needs of today’s demanding supply chains.

The upgraded service is scheduled to commence from Laem Chabang on April 24, 2017, and the new port rotation is as follows:

New AAA Port Rotation:  Laem Chabang – Singapore – Port Kelang – Fremantle – Sydney – Melbourne – Adelaide – Fremantle – Singapore – Laem Chabang

Atlantic Express 1 (AX1) Service – Supplementary Vessel

February 24, 2017

Dear Customer,

In the light of the change from G6 to THE Alliance Hapag-Lloyd needs to start with the cascade of vessels between the existing services to ensure they are punctually available in their new employment positions.

As a result some smaller vessels need to be temporarily employed in the AX2 service throughout March and in addition some repositioning measures in the AX1 service lead to a gap in week 11. In line with our strong commitment for a smooth Alliance transition and to limit the impact for your cargo Hapag-Lloyd has decided to deploy a supplementary vessel.

Vessel Name:                                                        Norasia Alya
Port of Loading:                                                   Bremerhaven (March 15, 2017) – Rotterdam (March 16, 2017)
Port of Discharge:                                                Savannah (March 26, 2017) – Norfolk (March 28, 2017)

For further information please contact your local Hapag-Lloyd office.
Kind regards,
Hapag-Lloyd AG
