The American NVOCC Oceanwide Logistics Inc. is managed by the German Management company OLN Oceanwide Logistics Global Network GmbH & Co KG close to Hamburg.

Our network manager, Mr Cord Bruegge, is a shipping specialist with some 40 years of experience in the shipping industry.

He started his career at Deutsche Africa Linien in the 70s to finally be the coordinator of the entire West Africa Container service of Woerman Line, a sub division of DAL.

In the early 80s, he changed to AAEL.

Mr Bruegge was part of a team that built up and managed AAEL, Amercia Africa Europe Line.
AAEL was running a triangular breakbulk and container line between the USA, West Africa, Portugal and the USA.

FMC questions, filings, legal issues were part of the daily business, which created his fundament of the detailed knowledge of company foundations, organizations and American Shipping legislation.

As of 1992 Mr Bruegge became part of a small group of international managers that created the NVOCC Ocean World Lines, one of the first worldwide fully bonded and neutral NVOCCs around.

Mr Bruegge was in charge of the construction and the organization of the agency network in Europe, Middle East and Africa.

The shipping line background of the Mangement Team of Ocean World Lines led to a set up which very much resembled the shipping lines that they managed before.
The Hanseatic approach of customers and agents as much as the loyalty to business partners build his repuation in the shipping industry.

Parallel to the build up and running of the shipping activities, Mr. Bruegge also built up a trading company that was created to generate cargo for Ocean World Lines. Over the years thousands of container loads were traded and shipped this way.

In 2012 Mr Bruegge became part of the foundation team of Oceanwide Logistics Inc and now manages the entire worldwide agents network.
