STATUS CHANGE FEE
Dear valued Customer,
In addition to our customer information from October 2015 we kindly inform you, that we charge Status change fees whenever booking details are adjusted after the physical delivery of the containers at the terminal.
The fee is a pure cost recovery item that applies for the modifications outlined in our a.m. customer information and mainly relates to changes of vessel, voyage, direction, port of discharge and – after the implementation of the VGM guidelines – weights.
Especially the latter has unfortunately triggered many status changes which may be avoided by providing the VGM of the
containers well in time prior to the delivery of the containers at the terminal.
To assist you, please kindly note the guideline for the application of a status change fee triggered by weight adjustments:
Following weight classes are considered:
From 0 to 10 MT
Between 10 to 15 MT
Between 15 to 20 MT
Between 20 to 25 MT
Between 25 to 30 MT
Over 30 MT
For any weight modification that implies a change of weight class after full container delivery, the containers involved must be removed from their stack position.
However there is a tolerance of 1 MT between every weight class.
For this handling, we will charge the following amount:
Eurogate EUR 110,- per container
HHLA EUR 75,- per container
