Shuwaikh Congestion Surcharge
Dear Valued Customers,
Please note that we have adjusted the quantum of the Shuwaikh Congestion Surcharge from
USD 200/container to USD 100/20’ and USD 200/40’/45’ respectively.

This will be effective on all import and export containers starting from August 25th, 2015 for all trades except China and North America (MECL), the Surcharge will be effective from October 1st, 2015 for China and from September 11th, 2015 for North America (MECL).
Please note that Shuaiba Port remains free of this surcharge.
We are continuously monitoring the situation at the port and once concrete operations are reestablished we will gladly reassess the surcharge implementation. For any questions, please contact your local customer service or sales representatives.
