Please note following announcement published today in the Israeli shipping journal:
The Japanese Shipping Company NYK, will resume within the next few days to calol Ashdod Port iwth a direct call . The company’s activity on the new line between Israel and the Far East will commence within the next few days and the first vessel on this line will leave for Israel from Busan Port/South Korea.
The new line will opertae on a weekly basis and will a large variety of ports, such as: Busan, Shanghai, Ningbo, Yantian, Singapore, Ashdod Pireaus, Istanbul, Izmir, Mersin and Kaushiung.
The service concerned will cover import as well export of cargo and it will shorten the transit times and enable a convenient imminent international trade.
It will served by 10 vessels with a capacity of 12000 TEU enabling carriage of 20w and 40′ containers.,
The call of Ashdod Port will be possible, within the frame of The Alliance’s activity operated by K Line, Hapag Lloyd, MOL, Yang Ming and NYK.
