With reference to current severe port congestion in SHUWAIKH (KUWAIT) which are causing service disruptions involving increased operating costs, please be informed that ANL will be implementing an:

Emergency Port Congestion Surcharge:

$100/20’- $200 /40’ effective from November 1st, 2014 (B/L date)

The Emergency Port Congestion Surcharge will be applied as follows:

Origin Range: from all NWC / UK ports

Destination : SHUWAIKH port (KUWAIT)

Cargo: Dry, OOG and Reefer cargoes

Dates of application: November 1st , 2014, B/L Date

On COLLECT basis only

Any revision in the quantum of this surcharge related to the evolution of the local situation will be communicated with a 10 days’ notice.
