Asia-Europe Market: Bunker and Currency Charges
Dear Valued Customer,
With effect from May 1st 2016, please be advised that APL will apply the following Bunker and Currency charges for both Westbound and Eastbound directions:
Origins/Destinations: Far East/Australia/New Zealand
Destinations/Origins: Europe/Mediterranean
Bunker Charge: USD148/TEU
Currency Charge: 2.4%
Origins/Destinations: Indian Subcontinent/Middle East
Destinations/Origins: Europe/Mediterranean
Bunker Charge: USD99/TEU
Currency Charge: 2.4%
We will be reviewing the Bunker and Currency charges on a monthly basis to ensure that these charges are reflective of actual cost.
For shipments subject to the Eastbound Bunker Contribution Charge, the following levels will apply with effect from May 1st 2016:
Origins: North Europe/Mediterranean
Destination: Far East/Australia/New Zealand/Indian Subcontinent/Middle East
Eastbound Bunker Contribution Charge: USD47/TEU
Origins: Russia/Baltics/Poland/Turkey
Destinations: Far East/Australia/New Zealand/Indian Subcontinent/Middle East
Eastbound Bunker Contribution Charge: USD47/TEU
