APL: Migration from Doha port to Hamad Port

Qatar – Migration of Container Operations from Doha Port the new Hamad Port

Qatar’s new Hamad Port will become fully operational effective 1 December 2016, replacing the existing Doha Port. As such, all APL shipments calling Qatar will shift from Doha Port to Hamad Port.

This is a welcomed move as the Hamad Port is well equipped with cutting-edge port facilities with adequate yard space, allowing for smoother cargo flow and faster operations.
