APL stops booking and loading on Hanjin vessels

Dear Valued Customer,

As you might have read in the news, Hanjin has filed for court receivership.

With immediate effect, APL has stopped loading on Hanjin ships.

APL is currently working with the G6 Alliance while Hanjin operates in another alliance for the major East-West trades. Our services remain unaffected, except for the Asia South America (ASA) and West Med Service (WMS), for which Hanjin has one ship deployed in each.

APL is working closely with our remaining partners to secure replacement ships in order to maintain the weekly, reliable and consistent service offerings in the aforementioned ASA and WMS services.

Hanjin’s difficulties underline the tough operating environment that the liner industry has been facing for a while now. In spite of this, APL, now a part of the CMA CGM Group, will continue, as always, to fulfil our commitments to you in these challenging times. We thank you for your continued business and support.

Sincerely,

APL
