Maersk GRI Asia to Europe July 1st, 2015

The situation gets more and more dramatic with the carriers. They will have to take the decision, how long they want to push the GRIs non- executed from one month to the next.

Nobody will be present at their financial funeral, so the lines better find a solution.

Here comes Maersk with another attempt to increase the numbers:

Please be advised that Maersk Line is announcing a General Rate Increase (GRI)

effective 1st of July 2015 based on scheduled “Vessel Departure Date”

from Far East (excluding Japan)

to MED and NEUR countries at USD 1,150/TEU.

For Syria, the GRI amount is at EUR 1,050/TEU.
The GRI is applicable for both DRY and REEFER cargo.
