Nhava Sheva, All India Strike on 2nd September 2015 by the Trade Unions
Dear Valued Customer,
We would like to inform you that most probably, the all India Nation-wide strike may not affect the Private terminals at Nhava Sheva. However, the JN Port Employees may remain absent on 2nd September and hence the same may affect one shift operations at JN Port.
As of now, either GTI or NSICT employees not extended their support to JN Port Employees Union at Nhava Sheva for the above strike. Understand that there will not be any kind of road blockage en route to Terminals and hence the EXIM movement will not get affected.
The Marine Department will be operational and hence the berthing and sailing of vessels will not be affected. We are planning to berth our ME3 vessel TALASSA at GTI on 2nd at 1300 hours.
We will keep you posted about the same and will send out the next update tomorrow.
