We are very grateful to be able to present the latest update to you:

Dear valued OOCL Customer,

Rail Network

BNSF has advised they are limiting volumes ex Chicago, Cicero and Minneapolis-St Paul en-route to Seattle and Tacoma terminals.  This is due to the elevated terminal and online inventory headed to these destinations.  As needed, alternative gateway routings will be put into place.

Truck Power
·         Truck Power across the USA to perform import store door deliveries and export door pickups continues to be a major concern.  Our Operation colleagues continue to bring on new trucks.
·         There are no truck power issues in Canada and Mexico.
·         Please see our Truck Power Map on OOCL.com for more information regarding advance timing required for door movements.

Vessel/Loop Deployment Changes

  • Atlantic Express 1 (AX1):  An additional vessel will be deployed in our AX1 service in order to include a port call in Charleston.   The new port rotation will be as follows:

These changes will be effective with the following sailings:
Westbound: MV “Houston Express” 063W, ETA Le Havre on November 13
Eastbound:  MV “Osaka Express” 047E, ETA New York on November 22
  • Savannah New York Express (NYE) and South China East Coast Express (SCE): The G6 Alliance Winter Program will combine the NYE and SCE services to provide the following port rotation:
    Xiamen – Kaohsiung –  Hong Kong – Yantian – Shanghai (Yangshan) – Pusan – Panama Canal –  Manzanillo – Kingston – Savannah – Charleston – New York – Norfolk – Jacksonville – Kingston – Manzanillo – Panama Canal – Balboa – Pusan – Xiamen
The first sailing of the combined service started with the Hyundai Glory 065E (sailed Xiamen October 31st)
The last sailings of the temporarily suspended NYE and SCE services are as follows:
    – NYE: Week 44 E/B (ETA Kaohsiung 26 October 2014) & Week 48 W/B (ETA Savannah 24 November 2014)
    – SCE: Week 43 E/B (ETA Xiamen 21 October 2014) & Week 48 W/B (ETA Savannah 23 November 2014)
  • Export Terminal First Receiving:  As an increasing number of terminals are implementing ad hoc changes in first receiving dates for export laden containers on a vessel/voyage basis, as well as reduced number of receiving days, we have begun posting this information on OOCL.com USA/Canada web sites under Local Information (link)
