We have been advised by major shipping lines that there’s a temporary congestion at QICT (Port Qasim), thus causing delays in the container loading / discharging and inland transfer from QICT to CFS terminals. Therefore, we are requesting suppliers already to follow standard gate-in cut-off time to avoid rollover of any container.
Also, it is advisable to all customers to request suppliers from their side too, to deliver the cargo and complete terminal’s formalities well within the standard cut-off time of target vessel, enabling carrier to add all boxes on their load-plan, so port operation team can arrange to load container on target vessel.
