Please be informed that dangerous cargo imported into Shanghai, China (CNSHA), in IMO class 2.1 (tank containers), 2.3 (tank containers) and 5.2 will be subject to new shipment regulations with immediate effect.
The regulations are as follows:

1. The consignee is required to make a declaration to the terminal no later than 72 hours before vessel arrival in Shanghai by presenting a Letter of Intent (LOI).

2. The terminal will ensure a barge for the mentioned IMO containers and cargo will be picked up from terminal yard no later than 72 hours after container has discharged from the vessel.

3. It is prohibited for cargo in aforementioned IMO containers to move through Donghai Bridge, Shanghai, by truck and should therefore be picked up from the terminal yard by barge, arranged by consignee.
